My shama Seri Ipoh droped its tails on 1st Dec 08 and completed on 1st Feb 09. The tail around 9"+. Here a few images after complete molting,

Birds Competition

Penang Bird Competition.
I brought two shamas and three magpies.
I brought my magpie mahkota perak for competition after two weeks complete molting but due to lack of form, my magpie lost. The only good news is my last month magpie (4th placing) manage get 10 placing (score 84.1, 83.7). Another new bought magpie (very high potential magpie) very disappoint me because it sing and ballon up only manage 82 , 83.7, maybe this first time enter competition. Finally both magpies sold after competition.
Next my shama Seri Perak score 84.1 , 83.7. - lost due to 8 trophys available/ 32 shamas.
My new shama Seri Pengkalan after complete molting after two weeks got very potential chance to get top three but lost also. First round score 84.5 (third at instant) but second round still perform consistent only manage 82, totally upset. Below is 3 mins clip of my shama Seri Pengkalan. I will keep on traning my shama until it success.

I miss last sunday shama gathering because gone to Klang for having dinner marriage. Today only 6 turn up for training. Me my self brought three shama for traning.

Birds Competition

Venue : Tempat letak kereta bangunan Tuanku Syed Putra, Lebuh Downing, Pulau Pinang ( Padang kota lama)
I enter one magpie and two shama. my new try magpie manage getting 4th placing over 33 birds. The score is 84.5, 84.5, later my magpie sold ( Rm 500.00).
My shama Seri Perak manage 8th over 36 birds, the score 84.0,84.3, but my Seri Ipoh only score 81, 83.3. Atleast this time my Seri Perak get use to traveling from 2 hours journey compare to last time result. Hope it improve better.
